MANAGEMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION AGREEMENT

City entered into a cooperative agreement on August ,
ousinF, and
1979, to participate in the County's Fifth Year ii
Co=nunity Development Block Grant application.
Thcity has been awared a $130,000, share of the Urban
County Grant for street, sidewalk, and alley construction
in the Village area.
Environmental clearances have been granted for these projects,
thereby clearing the u, y for implementation.
The City must now enter .nto a nanageinent and implementation
agreement with the County which will release the funds for
the Fifth year projects. Once this agreement is approved
the City can move ahead with the implementation of the
Fifth year HCD Block Grant protects.

Recommendation
it is recormended that if Council desires to begin implementation
of fifth Year iiDC projects, it adopt the attached resolution.
Council Action:
12-18-79 Council adopted Resolution 6024, approving an agreement with the
County for management and implementation of Fifth Year Housing
and Community Development Block Grant projects.
