SUBJECT: PARKING RESTRICTIONS - CARLSBAD BOULEVARD
STATEMENT OF THE MATTER
The Coastal Bike Route will require different parking restrictions than those presently *
in force.

1. That "NO.PARKING ANYTIhE" zones be established on the west side of Carlsbad Boulevard:

a. between Elm Avenue and Pine Avenue
b. between Maple Avenue and Cherry Avenue

(at exit of third parking lot)
from 600 feet north of south City limits to south City limits.

2. That "NO PARKING ANYTINE" zones be established on the east side of Carlsbad Boulevard:

from 100 feet north of Pine Avenue to 2,600 feet north of Cannon Road
from Cannon Road northerly for a distance of 2,300 feet.
3. That "PARK OFF PAVEMENT" zones be established on both sides of Carlsbad Boulevard from
2,600 feet north of Cannon Road to Manzano Drive, except, of course, at those locations

AN 0RDINb.NCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER 10.40 BY THE AMENDMENT OF SECTION 10.40.042 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE TO REVISE PARKING
RESTRICTIONS ON CERTAIN PARTS OF CARLSBAD BOULE- VARD
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad., California, hereby
ordains as follows:
SECTION 1: That Title 10, Chapter 10.40 of the Carlsbad
Municipal Code is amended by the amendment of Section 10.40.042 to
read as follows:
"10.40.042 Parking restricted on certain parts of Carlsbad
Boulevard. - of the day and night on the westerly side of Carlsbad Boulevard: (a) Parking of vehicles is prohibited during all hour
(1) Between Elm Avenue and Pine Avenue; (2) Between Maple Avenue and Cherry Avenue;
(3) From 160 feet north.of Redwood Avenue to 2,180 feet
(4) From 500 feet northerly of Tiel-ra Del Oro Street 40
(5) From 600 feet north of south city limits to south
