Statement of the Matter
The City Council, at your meeting of January 15, 1980,
directed the City Attorney to prepare the necessary
documents approving zone dhange (ZC-207). The ordinance
adopting the zone change is attached.

Recommendation
If the Council desires to approve Zone Change 207 and grant
the change of zone, your action is to introduce Ordinance
Council Action:
2-5-80 Council introduced Ordinance 9543, amending the Municipal Code
by amending the Zoning Map to grant a zone^change.
2-19-80 Council adopted Ordinance 9543.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING
TITLE 21 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE
BY AMENDING THE ZONING MAP TO GRANT A
CHANGE OF ZONE (ZC-207) FROM L-C (LIMITED
CONTROL) TO P-U (PUBLIC UTILITY) WITH
THE FLOODPLAIN OVERLAY ON APPROXIMATELY
FIVE ACRES GENERALLY LOCATED WEST OF
RANCHO SANTA FE AT THE ENTRANCE TO
SAN MARCOS CANYON. APPLICANT: LA COSTA
LAND CO. AND SMCWD.
The' City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California does
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is
amended by the amendment of the zoning map to grant a change of
zone (ZC-207) from L-C (Limited Control) to P-U (Public Utility)
with the Floodplain Overlay on property as shown on map marked ZC-
207, Exhibit A, attached hereto and made a part hereof.
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty
days after its adoption, and the City Clerk shall certify to the .
adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be published at least
once in the Carlsbad Journal within fifteen days after its
adoption.
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a Meeting of the Carlsbad City
