Staterrlent bf the Matter __
At their February 19, 1980 meeting Council adopted Resolution 6087 authorizing
acceptance of a grant award from the National Endowment for the Humanities in
an ambunt not to exceed $10,000. The-project is now in the planning stages an(
Council authorization to expend the funds is requested.

Note: The Accounting policies for this endowment grant will be
the same as other city funds. A separate fund (07) has been established to account for revenues, expenditures and
transfers affecting this grant. The proposea budget will S
established in account 07-140-2450 professional services
due to the nature of the project. Estimated revenues of
$10,000 will be posted to account 07-000-4630 - Grant Reven National Endowment for the Humanities.
