STATEMENT OF THE MATTER .-

Work under the above project has been satisfactorily completed.
amount of $55,861.85 exceeds the bid prite by $2,384.70 due to an underestimate of
quantities of aggregate base and asphaltic concrete needed to complete the work.
Ten percent of the final contract amount ($5,586.19) will be withheld until 35 days
after the Notice of Completion records.. Funds are avaiiable for transfer within
the Gas Tax Account.

RESOLUTION NO. 6073
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF STREET IMPROVEMENTS IN BEECH AVENUE,
GARFIELD STREET AND CARLSBAD BOULEVARD
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the transfer of Two Thousand Three Hundred Eight Five Dollars
($2,385.00) from Gas Tax Paseo Del Norte and Palomar Airport Road Project
Account, No. 2-200-3034, to the Gas Tax Street Improvements in Beech Avenue,
Garfield Street and Carlsbad Boulevard Project Account, No. 2-200-3021, is
hereby authorized and approved.
2. That Department of Finance Fund Transfer No, 44 on file in said
partment and incorporated by reference herein is approved.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Car
at a regular meeting held the 6th day of May , 1980, by the fol
