Statement of the Matter
The City Council, at your meeting of April 15, 1980, directe
the City Attorney to prepare the necessary documents
approving Tentative Subdivision Map (CT 79-27), Condominium
Permit (CP-44) and Specific Plan (SP-33 (A) ) . The doeuEents
in that regard are attached.

Recommendation
If the City Council concurs, your action is to adopt Resolution No.&G7 approving CT 79-27/CP-44 and

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
CONDITIONS TENTATIVE MAP (CT 79-27) FOR
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING WITH
A 294-UNIT CONDOMINIUM PROJECT AND APPROVING
CONDOMINIUM PERMIT (CP-44) FOR SAID PKOJECT
29.6 ACRES GENERALLY LOCATED WEST OF
EL CAMINO REAL AND ON THE NORTH AND SOUTH SIDES OF HOSP WAY. APPLICANT: BROADMOOR
HOMES -
WHEREAS, on March 26, 1980 the Carlsbad Planning Commi,
adopted Resolution No. 1611 recommending to the City Counci
that Tentative Map (CT 79-27) and Condominium Permit (CP-44
be conditionally approved; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, on
April 15, 1980, held a public hearing to consider the recom
tions of the Planning Commission and to receive all recome

WHEREAS, said Tentative Subdivision Map and Condominiu
Permit have been declared to have a nonsignificant impact o
the environment and a Negative Declaration has been prepare

Carlsbad Environmental Protection Ordinance of 1972;
NOW, THERETORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
City of Carlsbad, California as follows:
A. That the above recitations are true and correct.
B. That the findings of the Planning Commission in I

Condominium Permit (CP-44) are hereby approved subject to a
applicable requirements of the Carlsbad Municipal Code and
the satisfaction of the following conditions:

OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. 9321 AND SPECIFIC PLAN (SP-33) BY THE

TENTATIVE MAP (CT 79-27) AND CONDOMINIUM
PERMIT (CP-44) AND ADOPTING AKEPJDED SPECfFLC
PLAN (SP-33(A)) ON PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED
WEST OF EL CAMINO REAL AND ON THE NORTH AND
SOUTH SIDES OF HOSP WAY, APPLICANT: BROAD- MOOR HOE3S.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, d
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 9321 and Specific Plan
(SP-33) adopted thereby, is hereby amended by the deletion
certain properties therefrom as shown on map marked (SP-33(
Exhibit A, attached hereto and made a part hereof.
SECTION 2: That amended Specific Plan (SP-33tA)) is h
adopted for the development of a 294-Unit condominium proje
generally located west of El Camino Real and on the north a
south sides of Eosp Way, more particularly described on mag
marked SP-33(A), Exhibit A, attached hereto and made a part
hereof ,
