Statement of the Matter -
The Woman's Club of Carlsbad wishes to donate $500.00 to assist the paramedics in the purchase of a specific item - "Jaws of Life". Although the Woman's Club made particular reference, after discussion with
representatives of the club, it was determined that
the money gift should be placed in the paramedic trust fund for purchase of equi?ment as needed for
use by the paramedics.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA ACCEPTING
A GIFT OF MONEY FOR PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT
FOR PARAMEDIC USE.
WEEREAS, The Woman's Club of Carlsbad wishes to make a
donation of five hundred dollars ($500.00) for the purchase
equipment for use by the paramedics; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept this gift
pursuant to Sections 37354 and 37355 of the California Govc
Code:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
