SUBJECT: PALOMAR AIRPORT ROAD AND PASEO DEL NORTE ROAD - CONTRACT NO. 1072
STATEMENT OF THE MATTER .
Construction under the above contract has been satisfactorily compl eted. final contract amount was $236,703.60 which is $1,000 over the contract amount of $235,703.60. The $1,000 increase was due to the issuance of a change order for extra base material and fiber reinforcing mat.

The original project funding was $370,000 and, therefore, sufficient funds are available to cover the cost of the change order.
Ten percent of the final amount will be withheld until 35 days after the Notice of Completion is recorded.

2. Add - 750 S.F. of Fermarnat fiber reinforcing mat as test case on applicability at (0.67/S.F. apFroximate'cost) lump sum €or labor, materials and installation at $500.
3. Item 8 - Substitute 414 L.F. of 14" F-curb in lieu of 6" B-1 curb to match grades at no extra cost to City.
