STATEMENT OF THE MATTER
Construction of Magee Park has been satisfactorily completed. The 90-day maintenance
period for the landscaping expires on August 6, 1980. The final contract amount of
$181,047 includes a change order previously approved by Council for undergrounding
utility lines to the Old City Hall/Library. A second change order dropping the dec-
orative bollards and adding electrical conduits for an improved electrical system
reduced the contract amount by $475. Ten percent of the contract amount will be
withheld until 35 days after the riotice of Completion records.
FISCAL IMPACT
None. Funds have already been budgeted.

RECOMMENDATION
Accept the work and direct the City Clerk to record the Notice of Completion and release
the bonds 35 days after recordation.
