SUBJECT: CARLSBAD BOULEVARD B I KEWAY PROJECT -
ACCEPTANCE OF EASEMENT
STATEMENT OF THE MATTER
The Counci 1 has previously accepted 16 easements for "corner cut-off" parcel
along Carlsbad Boulevard. A total of 17 easements will be required. The
provide safer turning movements while still accommodating wheelchair access
ramps. One easement remains to be accepted. The last easement is now ready
for Council action:
small parcels will allow the revision of curb lines at intersections to
PARCEL 12A J 0 H N S 0 N $1,125
Consideration is $600 for the property, plus an estimate of $525 for half the
cost of relocating the decorative wall.
F I SCAL I MPACT
Funds for payment of the consideration have been appropriated by Council and
are included in the budgeted amount forthebikeway project.
EXHIBITS
Resolution No.b.361 Accepting a Grant Deed from the Johnsons.
Resolution No.6362 Authorizing Payment of Consideration of Easement,
and for half the cost of relocating decorative wall.
RECOMMENDATI ON
Adopt Resolution No.636 / Accepting Grant Deed; and Resolution No. Q36 2 ,
authorizing payment of consideration of easement and half cost of relocating
decorative wal 1.

an Easeincnt for Zeal Property to the City of Carlsbad for s
purposes; said Easement is on file in the Office of the Cit
and is incorporated hi7 reference herein; and
WHEREAS, the City Councj.1 of the City of Carlsbad has
determined it to be in the public interest to accept said I
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:

That the Easenent conveying real property to the (

original Easement to be recorded in the Office of the Cocn
