STATEMENT OF THE MATTER
On October 7, 1980, City Council approved plans and specifications and authorized the
City Clerk to advertise for bids for subject contract. Ten sealed b4ds wer?e,recetved
and opened at 4:OO P.m. on November 5, 1980 and are shown on the attached bid summary.
\ The low bid was submitted by Jim McNulty Contractors in the amount of $46,337 which
is under the engineer's estimate of $50,000.

RESOLUTION NO. 6365
A RESOLUTION OF THE ClTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND.AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF CONTRACT NO. 1088 FOR CURB, GUTTER AND SIDEWALK REPLACE-
MENT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, bids have been received by the City of Carlsbad for the curb,
gutter, and sidewalk replacement program, Contract No. 1088; and
WHEREAS, the low bid received for this project was submitted by Jim
McNulty Contracting in the amount of $46,337; and
WHEREAS, funds are available for this project in Account No. 01-128-2411;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbac
as follows:
1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. The bid of $46,337 for the curb, gutter and sidewalk replacement pro-
gram, Contract No. 1088, is hereby accepted and the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized to execute a contract therefor.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
at a regular meeting held the 18th day of N~-, 1980, by the following
vote, to wit:
