Statement of the Matter
The City Council, at your meeting of October 28, 1980,
directed the City Attorney to prepare the necessary
documents approving Zone Change 216. An ordinance
adopting ZC-216 is attached.

AN ORDINANCE OP THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING
TITLE 21 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE
BY AMENDING THE ZONING MAP TO GRANT A
CHANGE OF ZONE (ZC-216) FROM R-l-7500
TO R-P ON PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED
ON THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF MADISON
STREET AND ARBUCKLE PLACE. APPLICANT:
MALOY.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California does
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code
is amended by the amendment of the zoning map to grant a
change of zone (ZC-216) from R-l-7500 TO R-P on property
as shown on map marked ZC-216, Exhibit A, attached hereto
and made a part hereof.
SECTION 2: The zoning map shall reflect the following
condition which shall apply to the subject property:
"The applicant shall apply for an adjustment plat
to combine the two lots prior to the issuance of a
building permit or business license. As a condition
of approval of this adjustment plat, the applicant
shall make all necessary dedications for the
widening of Madison and Arbuckle Place and shall
enter into a lien contract for future improvement
of the streets."
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty
days after its adoption, and the City Clerk shall certify
to the adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be published
at least once in the Carlsbad Journal within fifteen days
after its adoption.
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a meeting of the Carlsbad
City Council held on the isth day of November • 1980
and thereafter
