DATE : February 3, 1981 DEPARTMENT: Engineering SUBJECT : ACCEPTANCE OF STREET DEDICATION - MONROE STREET STATEMENT OF THE MATTER As a condition of approval of CT 77-2, Unit No. 4, Broadmoor Homes was required to obtain dedication for road purposes to extend Monroe Street from the northern end of their project to the future intersection with Marron Road. F I SCAL 1 MPACT After Monroe Street is improved and accepted by the City, the Utilities/ Maintenance Department will be required to maintain the publicly dedicated street. EXH I B I TS 1. NHEREAS, Grove Apartments Investment Company has submitted a Grant conveying Monroe Street to the City of Carlsbad for Public Road; said D on file in the Office of the City Clerk and is incorporated by referenc and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined i in the public interest to accept said Deed; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of California, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct. 2. That the Grant Deed conveying Monroe Street to the City of CE for Public Aoad, is hereby accepted. 3. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized to cause the origin; to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego Count3 of California, with the appropriate Certificate of Acceptance attached, PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad February 19& by the following vote, 1 Council held on the - 3rd day of AYES: Council Membgrs Packard, Casler, Lewis and Kulchin NOES: None ABSENT: Council Member Anear fild&!/2k227 RONALD C .
