SUBJECT : ACCEPTANCE OF EASEMENT FOR DRAINAGE STRUCTURES
STATEMENT OF THE MATTER
As a condition of approval of CT 77-2, Broadmoor Homes is required to constrt
drainage structures as determined necessary by the City Engineer and to dedic easements over these structures to the City. This easement is for land loca off-site of CT 77-2 to the north of Broadmoor's development. It will allow extension of a storm drain that has numerous public streets draining into it
FISCAL IMPACT
CJhen improvements are constructed and accepted by the City, Utilities/Yaintet Department will be required to maintain publicly dedicated structures.

RESOLUTION NO. 6435-4
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD , CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED FROM GROVE APARTMENTS INVESTMENT COMPANY
' : FOR DRAINAGE PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Grove Apartments Investment Company has submitted a Grant
conveying Drainage Easement to the City of Carlsbad for Public Storm Dra
tern; said Deed is on file in the Office of the City Clerk and is incorpc
by reference herein; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined il
in the public interest to accept said Deed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of (
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Grant Deed conveying Drainage Easement to the City 0-
bad for Pu5lic Storm Drain System, is hereby accepted.
3. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized to cause the origina
to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County
of California, with the appropriate Certificate of Acceptance attached.
