Dear Commi ss i oners :
I regret having to resign from the Parks and Recreation
Commission as a result of accepting the position of vice principal
at Le Grand Union High School near Merced, beginning February 2,
1981.
It has been an enjoyable experience working with the department
staff and fellow commissioners. The future of Carlsbad's
recreational needs is certainly in your hands at this point in
time and I encourage each of you to be active and assertive to
insure that the community's needs are met in the best possible
way.
Keep Dave on his toes! i will miss you all.

RESOLUTION NO. 6441
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARTSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION
WHEREAS, GEORGE E. HINDS, JR. has resigned as a member of
the Parks and Recreation Comission; and
WHEREAS, the term of GEORGE E, HINDS, JR., expires in August,
1983 ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the following person is hereby appointed to serve
as a member of the Parks & Recreation Comission of the City
of Carlsbad in that position vacated:
Scott Wright
for a term to expire in August, 1983. ,
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
