Statement of the Matter
The City Council, at your meeting of February 17, 1981,
directed the City Attorney to prepare the necessary
documents granting a change of zone (ZC-225) from C-2
and P-C to RD-M and approving an amendment to La Costa
Master Plan 149(E) to delete certain property from said
plan. The appropriate documents are attached.

ORDINANCE NO. 9585
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 21 OF THE
CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING THE ZONING
MAP TO GRANT A CHANGE OF ZONE (ZC-225) FROM
C-2 AND P-C TO RDM ON PROPERTY GENERALLY
LOCATED ON CENTELLA STREET, SOUTH OF LEVANTE
STREET IN LA COSTA. APPLICANT: ROSTON.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California does
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is
amended by the amendment of the zoning map to grant a change of
zone (ZC— 225) from C-2 and P-C to RDM on property as shown on
the map marked ZC-225 — Exhibit A, attached hereto and made a
part hereof.
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty days
after its adoption, and the City Clerk shall certify to the adoptioi
of this ordinance and cause it to be published at least once in
the Carlsbad Journal within fifteen days after its adoption.
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a meeting of the Carlsbad City
Council held on the 3rd clay of March r 1981, and thereafter
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a meeting of said City Council held on
the 17th day of March , 1981, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Packard, easier, Anear and Kulchin
NOES: None

• AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. 9570 AND MASTER PLAN (MP-149(E) BY THE
DELETION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM SAID MASTER
PLAN GENERALLY LOCATED ON CENTELLA STREET,
SOUTH OF LEVANTE STREET IN LA COSTA.
APPLICANT; ROSTON (MP-149(F).
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, does
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 9-570, and Master Plan (MP-149 (E)
adopted thereby, is hereby amended by the deletion of certain
property therefrom as shown on map marked (MP-149(F)—Exhibit A,
attached hereto and made a part hereof.
SECTION 2: That the findings of the Planning Commission
contained in Resolution No. 1757 constitute the findings of the
City Council in this matter.
SECTION 3: That amended Master Plan (MP-149(F)) is approved
subject to all applicable requirements of the Carlsbad Municipal
Code and to the satisfaction of the conditions contained in
Planning Commission Resolution No. 1757. Said resolution is
on file in the Planning Department and is incorporated by
reference herein.
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective
thirty days after its adoption, and the City Clerk shall certify
to the adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be published
at least once in the Carlsbad Journal within fifteen days
after its adoption.
