Mgr. u 3ec : ZONE CHANGE FROM M TO CT-Q AND A SPECIFIC PLAN AMENDMENT CASE NO: ZC-219/SP-23(C) APPLICANT: CALIFORNIA "6" MOTEL Statement of the Matter The City Council, at your meeting of March 3, 1981, directed the City Attorney to prepare the necessary documents granting a change of zone (ZC-219) from M (Industrial) to CT-Q (Commercial-Tourist) and approving amended Specific Plan (SP-23(C)) to delete certain property from said plan. The appropriate documents are attached. Exhibits Ordinance No. %3>*V3. granting ZC-219. Ordinance No. $£*?£ approving SP-23(C). APPLICANT: CALIFORNIA "6" MOTELS. The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, does ordain as follows: SECTION 1: Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is amended by the amendment of the zoning map to' grant a change of zone (ZC-219) from M (Industrial) to CT-Q (Commercial-Tourist) on property as 'shown on the map marked ZC-219 — Exhibit A,' attached hereto and made a part hereof. APPLICANT; CALIFORNIA "6" MOTELS . The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, does ordain as follows: SECTION 1: That amended Specific Plan (SP-23(O) is hereby adopted, deleting certain property from said plan> as shown on map marked SP-23(C)—Exhibit A, attached hereto and made a part hereof. SECTION 2: That the findings of the Planning Commission, as contained in Resolution No. 1768, constitute the findings of the City Council in this matter. SECTION 3: That amended Specific Plan (SP-23(C)) is approved subject to all applicable requirements of the Carlsbad Municipal Code and to the satisfaction of the conditions contained in Planning Commission Resolution No. 1768. Said resolution is on file in the Planning Department and is incorporated by reference herein. EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty days-after its adoption, and the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be published at least once in the Carlsbad Journal within fifteen days after its adoption.
