Since the first meetings of the Agricultural Advisory Camdttee,
W. Allan Kelly has attended the meetings. He has spent much time and
effort in helping to solve the problems of agriculture in Carlsbad even
though he is not a member of the Committee.
Through Resolution No. 6393, approved tuonimously by the City Council on
December 16, 1980, the number of members of the Agricultural Advisory
Camiittee was limited to no more than nine. There currently are eight
members. We are requesting that the City Council appoint W. Allan Kelly
as an official member. He has been a valuable asset to our efforts and
we would like to both honor his previous work and ensure his continued
participation.
