Statement of the Matter
At the April 19, 1981 Parks and Recreation Commission meeting, the
Commission unanihously accepted the Carlsbad Historical Society's
Magee Park, "Heritage Recreation Hall". suggestion to name the Old City Hall/Library that is now located in <.
In addition,'the Commission recommended that,the Shape11 Building
located on the Levante Park/School site be named "Levante Recreation
Center" ..

There is no fiscal impact.
. Recommendation
That City Council by minute Recreation. Hall and Levante
COUNCIL ACI'ION:
Council returned the matter to the
suggesttons on narrring the old City
