Statement of the Matter
The City Council, at your meeting of May 19, 1981, directed the
City Attorney to prepare the necessary documents granting a change
of zone (ZC-230) from R-3 (Multiple Family Residential) to RP-Q,
Residential Professional-Qualified Overlay). An ordinance in that
regard is attached.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 21 OF
THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING THE
ZONING MAP TO GRANT A CHANGE OF ZONE (ZC-230)
FROM R-3 (RESIDENTIAL-MULTIPLE FAMILY) TO
RP-Q (RESIDENTIAL/PROFESSIONAL-QUALIFIED
OVERLAY) ON PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE
EAST SIDE OF JEFFERSON STREET BETWEEN LACUNA
DRIVE AND HOME STREET. APPLICANT: BANDEMER
AND SCHLEHUBER. •
The City Council of the City of Carlsad, California,
does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is
amended by the amendment of the zoning map to grant a change of
zone (ZC-230) from R-3 (Residential-Multiple Family) to RP-Q
(Residential/Professional-Qualified Overlay) on property as
shown on the map marked ZC-230—Exhibit A, attached hereto and
made a part hereof.
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective
thirty days after its adoption, and the City Clerk shall certify
to the adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be published
at least once in the Carlsbad Journal within fifteen days after
its adoption.
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a meeting of the Carlsbad
City Council held on the 2nd day of June , 1981, and
