SUBJECT: FINAL MAP - CARLSBAD TRACT 7^
(TEMPLIN HEIGHTS, UNIT NO. 2) AND STREET DEDICATION
STATEMENT OF THE MATTER
Engineering Staff has completed checking the final map of Carlsbad Tract 7^-lMA),
Unit No. 2, for conformance with the State Subdivision Map Act and applicable
local ordinances of the City of Carlsbad. The final map conforms substantially
with the conditions of the tentative map approved by City Council on May 3, 1977
per Council Resolution No. 50^9-
Per one of the conditions of this tentative map approval, the developer is required
to dedicate the right-of-way for the future Victoria Avenue across the Unit No. 3
portion of the subdivision to the tract boundary prior to or concurrent with Council
approval of this Unit No. 2 Final Map. The developer has, therefore, submitted a
grant deed for Council approval in satisfaction of this condition.
FISCAL IMPACT
Improvements associated with this project will be built by the developer. This
project is excluded from the requirement of paying public facilities fees; however,
the developer has paid Park-in-Lieu fees in the amount of $5710.5**-
ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT
Environmental impacts of this development were considered at the tentative map
stage and were either satisfied or mitigated at that time.
RECOMMENDATION
Adopt Resolution No.b£"'73 accepting grant deed for Victoria Avenue dedication.
Approve final map of Carlsbad Tract 7^-lMA), Unit No. 2.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OP THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED FROM
HC MILLIN DEVELOPMENT. INC. FOR
STREET PURPOSES PURPOSES.
WHEREAS,MC HILL IN DEVELOPMENT. INC.has submitted a Grant
,Deed conveying an easement to the City of Carlsbad
for Street Purposes ; said Deed #79^ is on file in the
Office of the City Clerk and is incorporated by reference herein; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined it to be
in the public interest to accept said Deed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Grant Deed conveying an easement to tne
City of Carlsbad for Street Purpose1.- is hereby accepted.
3. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized to cause the original Deed
to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, State
of California, with the appropriate Certificate of Acceptance attached.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City
Council held on the 16th day of June ____, 1981 by the following
