City Atty \jffi City Mgr.^ —70^as ' if ' Ih SUBJECT:TENTATIVE MAP EXTENSION CARLSBAD TRACT 79-12 (MALTER) STATEMENT OF THE MATTER Carlsbad Tract 79-12 is an 18-unit condominium project located on El Fuerte Street and Luciernaga Street. The applicant is requesting that the tentative map be extended for a one-year period ending July 5, 1982. This tentative map was originally approved on January 2, 1980 per Resolution No. 6032. FISCAL IMPACT Additional public facilities required by this project will be offset by the payment of the public facilities and park-in-lieu fees by the developer. ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT A negative declaration was issued by the Planning Director prior to the approval of the original tentative map. The subject tentative map, which was approved by the City Council on January 2, 1980, will expire on July 5, 1981. The City Council may, at its'discretion, approve a one-year extension of the tentative map upon the request of the developer. An extension may be requested by writing a letter to the City Engineer (attention: Richard Allen) requesting an extension and stating the reason for the extension. The request must be accompanied by a fee $250.00. In order for the request to be scheduled for the last City Council meeting prior to the expiration date (June 16), the request must be received by June 4, 1981. RESOLUTION NO. 6570 g A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AN EXTENSION OF 3 TIME FOR TENTATIVE MAP CT 79-12 4 • WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 2nd day of 5 January, 1980 adopted Resolution No. 6032 approving, with conditions, 6 Tentative Map CT 79-12; and 7 WHEREAS, the subdivider has requested a one-year extension of time 8 for said map from July 5, 1981 to July 5, 1982; 9 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of 10 Carlsbad as follows: 11 A. That the above recitations are true and correct. 12 B.
