SUBJECT: Purchase of Playground Equipment
Statement of the Matter
On May 5, 1981, the City Council approved the specifications and authorized
the Purchasing ·Officer to invite bids for playground equipment at Holiday Park.
In accordance with Section 3.28.120 of the Municipal Code, Notice to Bidders
was published and, Request for Bids was made. Three responses were received,
opened, witnes~ed and recorded on May 29, 1981. The only responsive bid
was from Miracle Jamison; P. 0. Box 2156; La Mesa, California 92041, in
the amount of $9,272, -plus tax, for a total of ,$9,828.32.
Fiscal Impact
The cost of the playground equipment is within the $10,000 that is avai.lable from Park-in-Lieu District #4 funds.

AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT FOR

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad as follows:
