SUBJECT: SUBDRAINS IN PASEO DEL NORTE - CONTRACT NO. 1090
STATEMENT OF THE MATTER
At the May 5, 1981 meeting, Council rejected bids received on the above project and author-
ized staff to readvertise. The low bid received from the first advertisement was $111,045.
Staff revised the plans and specifications, and six sealed bids were received and opened on
June 3, 1981 in response to the readvertigement. These bids are shown on the attached 'IBid
Summary Sheet".

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING A TRANSFER OF APPROPRIATIONS FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF SUBDRAINS IN PASEO DEL NORTE
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council'of the City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the Transfer of Twelve Thousand Three Hundred Eleven Dollars
($12,311) from the City Manager's Contingency Reserve, Account No. 1-139-2450,
to Gas Tax Street Overlay Account, No. 2-200-2410, is hereby authorized and
appr0ve.d. .
2. That Department of Finance Fund Transfer No. 97 on file in said d
partment and incorporated by reference herein is approved.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
at a regular meeting held the 16th day of June , 1981, by the follow-
