STATEMENT OF THE MATTER
On May 19, 1981, City Council approved plans and spec

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF CONTRACT NO. 1087 FOR CONSTRUCTION OF ALLEY IMPROVE-
MENTS BETWEEN MADISON AND ROOSEVELT SOUTH OF CHESTNUT
WHEREAS, bids have been received by the City of Carlsbad for the con-
struction of alley improvements between Madison and Roosevelt south of Chest-
nut, Contract No. 1087; and
WHEREAS, the low bid received'for this project was submitted by Sim J.
Harris Company in the amount of $14,869; and
WHEREAS, funds are available for this project in Account No. 40-170-3709;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carls-
bad as follows:
1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. The bid of $14,869 for construction of the alley improvements betweer-
Madison and Roosevelt south of Chestnut, Contract No. 1087, is hereby accepted
and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a contracf there
for.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by +he City Council of the City of Carlsbad
at a regular meeting held the 7th day of July , 1981, by the follok
