STATEMENT OF THE MATTER: At its meeting of February 19, 1980, the City Council established a nine member Carlsbad Housing and Redevelopment Advisory Committee for the purpose of advising the Council in its capacity of Carlsbad Housing and Redevelopment Commission. In addition to establishing the committee, the Ordinance set forth in terms, qualifications, meeting times, voting require- ments, and functions, as required by the State Statutes. The terms of three members, Kenneth Chriss, Matthew Hall, and C. R. Helton expires in August 1981. Copies of all applications which have been received in the calendar year 1981 are attached to this Agenda Rill for consideration. In accordance with the Ordinance, it is necessary to appoint members in accordance with the appropriate designated categories as reflected on Exhibit A. EXHIRITS: A) Committee Organization Chart.
