:RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Staff recolllllends the Council adopt Resolution No. /,p (pf/ ,
awarding the bid for metal bleachers to Stadiums Unlimited, in the
amount of $6,608.02.
, ITFM EXPLANATION:
The 1981-82 Budget includes funds for the purchase of metal bleachers
to be used at the swi11111ing pool site.
In accordance with Section 3.28.120 of the Municipal Code, Notice to
Bidders was published and Request for Bids was made. Five responses
were received, opened, witnessed and recorded on September 3, 1981.
The lowest bid for the bleachers was submitted by Stadiums Unlimited,
c/o Marchetti Park & Recreation Products, P. 0, Box 17930, Irvine,
California 92713, in the amount of $6,234, plus tax, for a total of
$6,608. 04,.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The cost of the bleachers is within the $27,000 allocated for c~pttal
outlay items for the Aquatics Department.

A RESOLUTION OF THE 'CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFONIA, ACCEPTING A BID AND
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT ·FOR
THE PURCHASE OF METAL BLEACHERS.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California,
as fol lows:
1. That the bid of Stadiums Unlimited, P. 0. Box 17930, Irvine,
California 92713, is ·hereby accepted and the City Manager l~ hereby
authorized to execute a contract for the purchase gf meta T b 1 eachers for a
price of $6,234, plus tax, for a total of $6,608.04.
PASSED AP,PROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of C~rlsbad
