Accept the work under Contract No. 1107, General Street Light Conversions; direct
the City Clerk to have the Notice of Completion recorded; and to release the bonds
35 days after recordation
ITEM EXPLANATION:
Work under Contract No. 1107, General Street Light Conversions, has been satis-
factorily completed. The Utilities/Maintenance Department has recommended
acceptance of the work.
FISCAL IMPACT
The final contract price of $117,031-91 is less than the original bid price
of $117,385.96. Funding for this project was provided through a loan from
the California Energy Commission. Ten percent of the final contract amount
will be withheld until 35 days after the recordation of the Notice of Com-
pletion.
