RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution No. /b 76 $/ , declaring the house at 1265 Stratf Lane as surplus property. Authorize the Purchasing Officer to sell
house to the highest bidder. If no bids are received, authorize
Purchasing Officer to have house burned by City Fire Department or demolished.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
In May 1981, the City purchased a two-bedroom home and -76 acre of
land at 1265 Stratford Lane for $210,000. valued at $7,500, and the Building Official has estimated it would
cost approximately $10,000 to rehabilitate. In the Building Officia

A RE5OLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING A BUILDING AT 1265 STRATFORD LANE SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING
THE DISPOSAL OF SUCH BUILDING.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined
a house located at 1265 Stratford Lane can not be used and is surplus;
WHEREASI it would be beneficial to ihe City of Carlsbad to dispost
such building.
