RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Per Section 3.32.030 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code, the following
refund of sewer service fees be approved:

Carlsbad, CA 92008
Amount of refund: $557.96
ITEM EXPLANATION:
One year ago the Ebb Tide Motel ceased operation of a laundromat
operation located ut the motel. The city continued to bill the
motel for the laundry operation through March, 1982. The motel
owner, Mr. Glen Castens, recently contacted the water department
to find out why charges nad not been discontinued. The staff
has verified Mr. Castens' claim and recommends this refund.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This refund will reduce sewer fund revenues by $343.36 and sewer
surcharge reven··?s bJ $214.60.
