STOP SIGN - ELM AND MONROE TITLE:
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Introduce Ordinance No.3)qq establishing a STOP SIGFI at Elm Avenue and Monroe Street.
ITEM EXPLAYATION:
The City Engineer and the City Flanager have requested a stop sign at Elm Avenue and klonroe Street. The intersection has been warranted for a future signal and as such is warranted for an interim stop sign.
This area is experiencing increasing traffic because of the new and shortened route to the Plaza Camino Real Shopping Center.
FISCAL IMPACT:
A minor cost of $100 is estimated for the sign purchase and instal 1 ation.

CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER 10.28 OF THE CARLS-
BAD MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 10.28.260 DES!GNATlNG STOP CON-
TROL ON ELM AVENUE AT MONROE STREET

The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, hereby ordains as
follows:
SECTION 1: That Title 10, Chapter 10.28 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code
is amended to read as follows:
