PL CITY I RECOMMENDED ACTION: Both the Planning Staff and Planning Commission recommend that this application be APPROVED and that the City Attorney be directed to prepare documents APPROVING MP-149(G), per Plannir Commission Resolution No. 1954. ITEM EXPLANATION: This item is a request for an amendment to the La Costa Nastei Plan to accomplish two purposes: 1) To amend the land use plan of the La Costa northwest area; and 2) To make minor administrative changes to the La Costa Master Plan text and maps. The revision to the La Costa northwest area includes the reduction in size of the proposed golf course from 1Q5 to 85 (100 units), and an increase in the area of the proposed publj park site from 21 acres to 23.5 acres. The minor administrative changes to the text and maps are a result of City actions that have occurred since the time this Naster Plan was last approved. The Planning Commission found that this amendment was consistc with the General Plan Amendment that is being considered con- current with this item. Also, the Commission found that the amendment is consistent with the intent and purpose of the La Costa Master Plan. ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW: The Planning Director has determined that this project has already been considered in conjunction with a previously Notice of Prior Environmental Compliance dated March 9, 1982.
