ITEM EXPLANATION: City Council Resolution No. 6546, dated
May 26, 1981, approved the two year Memorandum of Understanding with the Carlsbad City Employees' Association. Included
in that M.O.U. was authority for an 8% salary increase for Miscellaneous employees to be effective June 14, 1982. The
salary schedule for Fiscal Year 1982-1983 was not included with the M.Q.U. and not part of Resolution 6546. The attached resolution with attachments represents the salary plan in the usual format.
FISCAL IMPACT: The fiscal impact will be an increase in
budgeted miscellaneous salaries of approximately $261,809
for the Fiscal Year 1982-1983.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD ADOPTING MISCELLAEEOUS
EMPLOYEE SALARY SCHEDULES FOR FISCAL
YEAR 1982-1983.
. WHEREAS, the City Council in Resolution No. 6546, dated
May 26, 1981, did approve Fiscal Year 1982-1983 salary increases
which are as shown on Exhibit A and incorporated hereh;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City.Counc51 of the
City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the above recitation are true and correct.
2. That the Miscellaneous Employee Salary SchednBes
are documented for Fiscal Year .1982-1983.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a reg,ular'meetinq of
the Carlsbad City Council held on the 15th day of June
1982, by the following vote to wit:
