ACTION:
Do not renew agreement with ISI.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
On January 20, 1981, the City and International Systems,
Incorporated (ISI) entered into an agreement for grants
research, information and application preparation. For
an annual fee of $22,500, ISI guaranteed to obtain grants
equal to its fee. ISI has obtained $32,425 in grants for
the City:
1. National Endowment for the Humanities grant of
$6,030 to the Library for a local history project.
2. Roberti Z'Berg Open Space and Recreation Grant for
$26,395 for initial development of Fuerte Peirk.
Now that. ISI has satisfied the terms of the initial agreement
with the City, they are seeking to renew the agreement for an
annual fee of $12,000 for research assistance and information
on grants. Preparation of grant applications would be an
additional charge billed at the rate of $35 per hour.
