RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Accept improvements, authorize Clerk to release bonds, and direct
the Utilities and Maintenance Departments to commence maintaining
the public improvements associated with this subdivision.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
Sommers Development Corporation, developers of CT 75-2, Unit 2,
have requested the City accept the public improvements associated
with Carlsbad Meadows Unit 2.
There has been a lengthy delay in acceptance of the improvements
associated with this subdivision due to an extensive list of items
to be corrected and the developers inaction in correcting the
items.
The involved departments have authorized acceptance of improvements,
FISCAL IMPACT:
The City will be required to maintain publicly dedicated streets,
sewer lines and water lines.

The following is a list of bonds that pertain to the above
listed project that were posted by Sommers Development Corp. to
assure completion of those items that pertain to each bond. My
records indicate that these bonds should have been exonerated
by your office. In communication with my bonding company, I
find that we have not obtained releases from you for the following
bonds :

Bond 7SM- 169-587 Improvement Bond
Bond 7SM- 169-588 Monument Bond
Bond 6SM- 167-533 Monument Bond
I would greatly appreciate it if you would send releases
on the above listed bonds to Sommers Development Corp. at the
address above. If you have any questions on the above bonds

can give me on the above would be greatly appreciated.
