ADVERTISE FOR BIDS -
Adopt Resolution No. 7 047 approving specifications and authorizing the
City Clerk to advertise for'bids for the Exterior Painting of the Harding
Street Community Center.
ITEM EXPLANATION :
The Engineering Staff has been requested by the Maintenance Department to prepare contract documents for repainting of Harding Street Community Center's exterior. Specifications are on file in the Engineering Departmei
FISCAL IMPACT:
Budgeted funds in the amount of $15,000 (Account No. 01-53-30-3900) are
1. Resolution No. Z.$L/ approving specifications and authorizing the
City Clerk to advertise for bids for the Exterior Painting of the
Harding Street Community Center.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCII, OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY CLERK TO INVITE BIDS FOR THE IlRRDING C0M"ITY CENTER'S
EXTERIOR REPAINTING - CONTRACT NO. 1132
WEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined it i
necessary and in the public interest to repaint the Hardjng Community Cent
exterior; and
WHEREAS, specifjcations for the furnishing of all labor, material, tc
equipment, transportatioiz, and other expenses necessary or incidental for
project, Contract No. 1132, have been prepared and are on file in the Eng
Department of the City of Carlsbad and are incorporated by reference here
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Cs

The specifications as presented are hereby approved.
The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and
directed to proceed to publish, in accordance with law, notice to contra
