By minute motion, approve the set-up of Carlsbad Community Education, Inc., a nonprofit educational corporation.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
The City of Carlsbad is now in the business of producing and distributing public educational material. A minimum of eight major mailings (four quarterly newsletters and four Parks & Recreation schedules) are sent annually from the City. greatly reduced if the City took advantage of the bulk mailing rate available for nonprofit corporations.
