successful completion of a Community Halloween Project al-
lowed GFhC North Coast Juniors to provide over $1,000 of

Dear George,
This is to bring you up to date on the activities of th
Kruger House Benefit Committee. The Committee was fGrme
last year after a meeting with Recreation Department staff
when it became clear that outside fund raising would De
necessary to accomplish special school improvement prcjects,
This joint committee of parents and teachers has hanjled
the proceeds of all school fund raising projects.
All parents of children attending Kruger House classes
during the sessions involved have been urged to particiuJtz
in fknd raising projects. One Tupperware fund-raiser has
held in April and one in May, a rummage sale was con
at Kxuger House in JUDE:, we manned Fish for Treasure
Bean 3ag Toss booths ai; the GFWC North Coast Junior !doman's
arniva;! in October and a rummage booth at
ge Faire this November. In addition, we
a1 $100 donation from a family whose children
have enjoyed Kruger House classes since 1981. All in all,
we have banked more than $0400 for school improvement!
We have joined with the GFWC North Coast Juniors to purchase
aces of Backyard BigToys for use outside of Kruger
providing appraximately 9200 of the purchase price
like to use the balance of the funds raised to add
an emergency exit from the art room to Kruger House's playyard
(along the south wall of our western-most classroom), An
additianal exit will inprove safety and enhance the use of
that room by expanding the traffic flow pattern (it's a bottle-
tuation now!).
d like to thank you personally for your support during t six months...for giving us the play equipment catalogs
ng, advising, and even buying our rummage! Me appreciate
at us all fired tip, for attending parent's meetings,
Now we can't wait to get the equipment in so the children can begin to e?njoy it.
Sincerely,
.;on&&
