RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Both the Planning Commission and staff recommend that these
applications be APPROVED and that the City Council direct the
City Attorney's Office to prepare documents APPROVING GPA-67(A)/
ZC-270, GPA-67(B)/ZC-271, EIR 82-3/GPA-67(D)/ZC-275 , and
GPA-67(E), as recommended by the Planning Commission.

ITEM EXPLANATION
This item consists of four requests for amendments of the Land
Use Element of the General Plan. Tonight's hearing is the first
of three to be heard by the City Council in 1983. Staff has
prepared separate agenda bills for each .request. The four
requests are the following:
1 ) GPA-67(A)/ZC-270 - IVAR - An amendment to the general
plan to change the land use designation from RLM
(Residential Low-Medium, 0-4 du/ac) to P-I (Planned
Industrial), and a preannexational zone change from
E-1-A (County) to R-1-10,000 and P-M (Planned
Industrial) ;
2) GPA-67(B)/ZC-271 - PARTNER'S EQUITY - An amendment to
the general plan to change the land use designation from
RLM (Residential Low-Medium, 0-4 du/ac) to RM
(Residential Medium, 4-10 du/ac) and a zone change from
R-1 to RDM(Q) ;
3) EIR 82-3/GPA-67(D)/ZC-275 - WOOLLEY - An Environmental
Impact Report, General Plan Amendment and a
preannexational zone change to various parcels; and
4) GPA-67(E) - MARIE CALLENDERS - a general plan amendment
from RRE (Regional Retail Commercial) to TS (Travel
Service Commercial).
Each agenda bill contains a detailed description of the request,
location map and Planning Commission Resolutions.
