ITEM EXPLANATION: A donation of $300.00 has been received from the Carlsbad Kiwanis Club toward the purchase of draperies for the new addition to the Children's room. FISCAL IMPACT: None. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A GIFT OF 5300 3 FOR THE LIBRARY. 4 WHEREAS, the Carlsbad Kiwanis Club wishes to present $300 to the 5 City of Carlsbad Library toward the purchase of draperies for the new addition 6 to the Children's room; and 7 WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept this gift pursuant to •8 Sections 37354 and 37355 of the California Government Code; 9 NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of 10 Carlsbad, California, as follows: 11 ]..That the above recitations are true and correct. 12 2.
