REASON
A representative of the Jerez company
paid school fees for a condo project
at 367 Jerez Court. After the fees
were paid, the developer reduced the
total number of bedrooms to be con-
structed. This reduction lowers the
amount of school fees payable by
$1,892.00.
Daon Corporation has withdrawn an
application for a genera-I plan amend-;:.
ment and a master plan amendment on
La Costa Southeast 13 and 14. A total
of $975 had been paid on June l, 1983
for these applications.
Mr. Macuougall deposited $2,500 for a
6" connection to a pressurized water
main (a "Hot Tap") on June 27, 1983.
This pLoceedure was complete at a cost
of $1,386.27. The remaining balance
of $1,113.73 should be refunded.
Any refund of fees reduces the amount of revenue available to the city; however,
the city may not retain fees collected in error, collected for services which can-
not be rendered, or collected with tte intention of using said fees for a deposit
to guarantee the completion of a task once the task is completed •
