Adopt Resolution No.?.?.s~/ amending City Standards for the Design and Construction of Public Works Improvements in the
City of Carlsbad to include 1982 Edition of Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction.

ITEM EXPLANATION:
On October 28, 1980, Council adopted a set of standards for the design and construction of public works improvements in
the City of Carlsbad. One element of the adopted standards
was the 1979 Edition of the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction prepared by the Southern Californi Chapter American Public Works Association and Southern
California District Associated General Contractors of
California.
the 1982 Edition and should now be made a part of City
Standards. The benefit is the-continued application of improved and updated specifications. The new edition
changes.
That edition has been updated and reprinted as

(SSP-K) be deleted from City Standards and the 1982 Edition be substitut
