HD..H CITY MGR.?~ CITY Am-!& Accept the construction of the Jefferson School Ballfield as complete and release the bonds for it. ITEM EXPLANATION: Construction of the Jefferson School Ballfield has been completed. The Construction was financed with Redevelopment Grant monies. The Ballfield is owned by the Carlsbad School District but will be maintained by the Parks and Recreation Department. The Parks and Recreation Department has accepted the work as complete. FISCAL IMPACT: The cost of construction was $74,031.50 paid from Redevelopment Grants. The cost of maintaining the field is $8100 yearly to be paid out of the Parks and Recreation Department Budget. I am also president of the Granville Park Property Owners Association. I have been an observant of this area for over fifty years. the use and abuse of the beach and lagoon in the northwest The purpose of this letter is to bring to your attention * portion of the city.
