RECOMMENDED ACTION:
BUTTERCUP ROAD
Adopt Resolution No. 7+$1f accepting an easement for road purposes of a portion o uttercup Road.
ITEM EXPLANATION
As a condition of approval of Carlsbad Tract 81-30, Pacesette
Homes Inc. was required to offer for dedication 60 feet of ri
of-way of Buttercup Road, easterly to Batiquitos Drive.
FISCAL IMPACT
Requiring dedications as a condition of development will save
City expenses in future right-of-way acquisitions.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED.
WHEREAS, Pacesetter Homes Inc. has submitted a Grant D
conveying an easement to the City of Carlsbad for road puspl
said Deed is on file in the Office of the City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has
determined it to be in the public interest to accept said D
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Grant Deed conveying an easement to the
of Carlsbad for road purposes is hereby accepted.
3. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized to cause
original Deed to be recorded in the Office of the County Re
of San Diego County, State of California, with the appropri
Certificate of Acceptance attached.
