Accept the construction of the Swim Pool Parking Lot as complete,
and adopt Resolution No. 7407 authorizing the transfer of funds
for this project.
Construction of the Swim Pool Parking Lot (Project No. 3154) has
been completed and is acceptable to the Parks and Recreation
Department.
Funds for this project were authorized with Resolution No. 7127 on
June 21, 1983. On July 1, 1983, funds for all projects that were
not on the 1983-1984 CIP, or not encumbered, went back into the
Undesignated Fund Balance Account. This contract was not awarded
until August 2, 1983. At that time, it was not known that these
funds were not continued.
A breakdown of the project costs is as follows: Construction $20,195 Staff Time $ 2,900
TOTAL $m
I FISCAL IMPACT
Funds in the amount of $ 377,000 are available in the Undesignated
Fund Balance Account No. 30-00-00-0941. The fund transfer of
$23,100 into Account No. 30-18-40-3146 will leave $354,000.

RESOLUTION NO. 7403
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE
PROJECT NO. 3146. TRANSFER OF FUNDS FOR SWIM POOL PARKING LOT -
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, has determined it is necessary and in the public
interest to construct the Swim Pool Parking Lot; and
WHEREAS, said parking lot has been constructed and funds
are available to pay for said construction;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. The transfer of Twenty-Three Thousand, One Hundred
Dol 1 ars ($23,100) from the Undesi gnated Fund Balance Account No.
30-00-00-0941 to the Swim Pool Parking Lot Account No. 30-18-40-
3146 is hereby authorized and approved.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
day of City Council of the City of Carlsbad held the 15th
Novmber , 1983, by the following vote, to wit:
