ITEM EXPLANATION
The City Council at your meeting of January 3, 1984 directed t Attorney to prepare documents approving the amendment to the i
referenced Planned Unit Development. That amendment would all
change of product type from duplex units to zero lot-line sins family residences in phases 2-5 of CT 77-2/PUD-8.
The findings of the Planning Commission contained in Resolutic 2230 shall be the findings of the City Council in this matter
approval is subject to the conditions of said Planning Commisi Resolution.

CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING WITH CONDITIONS AI
AMENDMENT TO A PREVIOUSLY APPROVED 96-UNIT PLANNE’
UNIT DEVELOPMENT PUD-8(A) TO ALLOW A CHANGE OF

WHEREAS, on December 14, 1983 the Carlsbad Planni
Commission adopted Resolution No. 2230 recommending to th
City Council that an amendment to a previously approved 96
unit Planned Unit Development (PUD-8(A)) to allow a change
of product type from duplex units to zero lot-line single
family residences in phases 2-5 of CT 77-2/PUD-8 be
approved: and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
on January 31 1984 held a public hearing to consider the
recommendations and hear all persons interested in or
opposed to amended Planned Unit Development (PUD-8(A)); an
WHEREAS, a notice of prior compliance was issued
the Land Use Planning Manager on November 18, 1983,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counci

A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING
APPROVAL OF AN AMENDMENT TO A PLANNED UNIT
DEVELOPMENT ON PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED
ADJACENT TO MONROE AVENUE AND HOSP WAY. APPLICANT: McKELLAR DEVELOPMENT

WHEREAS, a verified application for certain pro erl P
