release the cash deposit for the desiltation basin maintenanc
Carlsbad Tract 81-6.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
On December 13, 1983, the Poinsettia Investment Company, Inc. Developer of Carlsbad Tract 81-6, deposited $3000 in cash to
City for the maintenance of a desiltation basin which will se the before-mentioned tract.
On December 22, 1983, the Developer submitted a Maintenance B the amount of $3000 in lieu of cash deposit and requested the refund of their cash deposit.
Staff has reviewed the request and recommends the release of
cash deposit in lieu of bond.

OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE
FINANCE IDIRECTOR TO REFUND A CASH DEPOSIT
IN LIEU OF MAINTENANCE BOND FOR DESILTATION
BASIN - CARLSBAD TRACT 81-6.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlst
California, as follows:
That the Finance Director is hereby authorized to refunc
Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000) cash deposit from the Gradin!
Deposit Account No. 80-92-41-0519, in lieu of a Maintenance
Bond, to the Poinsettia Investment Compan,y, Inc.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the
of Carlsbad at a regular meeting held the 7th day of
