OF CARLSBAD - AGENDA BILL I' RECOMMENDED ACTION: Introduce Ordinance No3 16 changing yield signs on Paseo Del Norte at Poinsettia Lane I--t- to s op signs. ITEM EXPLANATION: At the request of Cindy Ward of 937 Begonia Court, the Traffic Safety Commission reviewed the request at its November 7, 1983 meeting. Based on the Engineering review, the Commission recommends changing the existing yield signs to stop signs. FISCAL IMPACT: Changing two yield signs on Paseo Del Norte to stop signs will cost approximately $36 each. EXHIBITS: 1. Location Map. 2. Drivers shall stop where the following Paseo Del Norte." described street interesects Poinsettia Lane: EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty days after its adoption, and the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be published at least once in the Carlsbad Journal within fifteen days after its adoption.
