RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution No. 76~7' accepting a dedication of a port
of Tamarack Avenue.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
As a condition of approval of Parcel Split No. 255 in 1975,
portion of Tamarack Avenue, west of Adams Street, was offere
dedication.
As a condition of the Building Permit for the church now bei
constructed, the owner is also required to construct the
improvements on Tamarack Avenue, necessitating the City to e
the Offer of Dedication.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Accepting the dedication will save the City expenses in the
right-of-way acquisitions.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION
OF A PORTION OF TAMARACK AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the Diocese of San Diego Education and Welfare
Corporation has recorded an Offer of Dedication for street r
to the City of Carlsbad; said Offer of Dedication is on file
Office of the County Recorder; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has
determined it to be in the public interest to accept the
dedi cation ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of i
of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the dedication for street purposes to the Cii
Carlsbad is hereby accepted.
3. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized to cause
Certificate of Acceptance of the dedication to be recorded
Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, State of I California.
