RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Introduce Ordinance No. 3 j~p changing yield signs on Unicornio
Street at Corintia Street to stop signs.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
At the request of Lucille Olson of 2724 La Golondrina Street, the Traffic Safety Coordinating Committee reviewed the request at its
March 26, 1984 meeting. Based on the Engineering review, the Committee recommends changing the existing yield signs to stop signs.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Changing two yield signs on Unicornio Street to stop signs will
cost approximately $36 each.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER 10.28 OF THE
CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE ADDITION OF SECTION 10.28.322 DESIGNATING STOP CONTROL ON UNICORN10 STREET AT CORINTIA
STREET.
I The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, hereby ordains as
i follows:
I SECTION 1: That Title 10, Chapter 10.28 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is
amended by the addition of Section 10.28.322 to read as follows:
"10.28.322 Corintia Street. Drivers shall stop where the following
Unicornio Street .I1
described street intersects Corintia Street:
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty days after its
adoption, and the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and
cause it to be published at least once in the Carlsbad Journal within fifteen
days after its adoption.
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of the City Council held the
- 1st day of MY , 1984, and thereafter
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of said City Council held the
15th day of MY , 1984, by the following vote, to wit:
